OUR MINISTRIES

Children’s Ministry

Children Ministries and MMO:  God loves children and we do too at MGUMC!  We have a wonderful children’s ministry offering classes on Wednesday nights at 6pm, and engaging children’s programs on Sunday mornings for all ages.  Throughout the year our children are involved in learning, worship, and fun, doing Children’s church, Sunday school classes, Blue Lake Camp, and Vacation Bible School.

Mother’s Morning Out (MMO)

Our MMO Program is open to our church members and to families in our community. We are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm. We follow the Escambia County School Holiday schedule and our school year runs from September to May.  If you, or someone you know, may be interested, please give us a call! We have a 2 year old class and a 3 year old class. We strive to keep our ratios and prices very low, so classes do fill quickly. We have been accredited through FCCPSA (Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools) since 2008.

Thank you for your interest in Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church Mother’s Morning Out Program! We would be honored to care for and minister to your child. We look forward to growing in faith, hope and love with you, your child and your family! God Bless!

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministries: Resistance Student Ministries, or Resistance Youth, is Myrtle Grove’s student ministry for grades 6-12.  We believe in raising up the next generation of strong disciples for Jesus Christ who represent God’s retaking of this world through love.  We, the next generation, are the Resistance against sin, hate, and darkness that seeks to claim the lives of our peers.  We stand for Jesus Christ and for our brothers and sisters whom God loves so much.  We resist the ways of this world that lead so many teenagers into darkness and stand on the rock of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.  We are God’s army sent to bring His light to this world.  We are the Resistance. Resistance Youth does many great events throughout the year involving worship, learning, service and fun!!
